If you’ve been watching the news coming out of Europe, you’ve likely seen some disturbing scenes. And we’re not going to sugarcoat what’s happening.
Protests and civil unrest have escalated across several European countries, particularly France, Italy, and Belgium. What began largely as demonstrations over rising living costs, education, and economic pressures has, in some areas, turned violent. We’ve seen fires, looting, clashes with police, damage to historic buildings, and even localized curfews.
It’s heartbreaking to see this happening in places so rich in history, culture, and beauty.
So, what does this mean for travelers?
First, Europe is not shutting down. Travelers are still visiting, flights are operating, and many destinations remain welcoming and largely unaffected. But certain areas are experiencing disruptions, and circumstances can change quickly.
